If you lost your temper and "accidently" hit a player in the face with a ball, would you admit it?

The kid's temper got the best of him. It doesn't make him a bad kid or even a bad player. But when tempers flare, players need to go to the bench and stay there until they calm down. When tempers get out of control - and the fans were not doing anything to calm things down - people get hurt.

As far as "assuming it like I want it to be," you're making assumptions. I agreed with the call just like I agreed with several calls that were made against Grundy. I have no personal gain either way.

So now you're doing two things--questioning the integrity of a kid you don't even know on a personal basis as to whether or not he'd lie about doing something that a couple hundred people witnessed, and also saying he hit him in the face, when he ball faked towards his head and caught the kid on the top of the noggin...which I'm sure was painful and dreadful. It's a ball! You're really making this out to be a capital offense when it happens all the time in the game of basketball. I've seen guys get steals because their man ball faked, hit their head, and there was no technical called, but the ball popped up and it was their ball. If getting bumped in the head by a ball fake is going to decimate a kid playing defense, then how in the world do you explain all the other no-calls when this has happened, or even the times when the kid who got hit in the head ended up getting the steal???

You're really really reaching here. Did you ever even play the game? It really seems like you haven't. Otherwise you'd understand there's worse things in the game of basketball than "resorting to playing dirty" and accidentally ball faking and hitting a kid in the head by accident...PUHLEAZE.

I'm out. See you at the game. Make sure you call the refs out when they don't call the dirty ole ball fake off the head trick tonight about 10-15 times. If a kid gets punched in the nuts though, make sure to applaud...GEEZ...

Wave beat Ervinton by 30. Coeburn had a big lead but Norton had gotten back into it when I left...

Wise beat us by 1, 33-32

So Kelly will play Castlewood/Grungy winner at 7 tomorrow in the finals? Is that right?

From where we sat we thought it looked like a flagrant foul against Coeburn and he should have been ejected. That really upsets me too many times. I fear someone is really going to be hurt. The only one can stop some of this are the refs by calling them.
